Instructions:
In order to grow Watergems,
you will need a large container (we suggest the
Valencia glass vase), a strainer, the container you intend to display
your gems in (try the Cylinder
bowl) and Watergems.
To expand the
Watergems, use 1 gallon of water to 1 tablespoon of Watergems. Allow the
Watergems to soak for 8 hours. Once the Watergems are expanded strain off the
excess water and place them in the container of your choice. Watergems can be
colored by adding food coloring. Once gems are drained simply drop the food
coloring into the gems and gently mix to disperse the
color.
Watergems need to be hydrated about once a
week. To do so, simply add water to the existing arrangement and the gems will
absorb the water in their current state. Watergems can be reused by rinsing
between uses or they can be dehydrated and stored for use at a later date.
Avoid salt contact on Watergems as it will ruin the
Watergems. |
